Features-
- Hi-pearl is a high Tg solid spherical polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) polymer produced through suspension polymerization in water. It has a high molecular weight and is thermoplastic, offering excellent weather resistance and transparency.
- Hi-pearl is primarily derived from methyl methacrylate and can also be copolymerized with methyl methacrylate monomers such as methyl acrylate and/or acrylic ester monomers such as butyl acrylate.
- Hi-pearl exhibits good flowability and dispersibility in both organic and inorganic materials.
- The polymer produced through suspension polymerization has high purity (ash content <0.01wt%), making it suitable for use as a ceramic adhesive.
- It is soluble in various solvents and monomers.
Applications:
Hi-pearl is used in products related to displays, electronic devices, building materials, corrosion-resistant etching, paint, and ink coatings, among others.
Specifications-
- Particle size: 10 to 500 μm
- Glass transition temperature (Tg): 20 to 120°C
- Molecular weight (Mw): 10,000 to 1,000,000
- Functional groups: Carboxyl, hydroxyl, epoxy, etc.
- Biobased polymers
Brief Introduction to Two Product Models~
MA-4620 - Alkaline Development Corrosion Inhibitor Polymer~
- Suitable for alkaline development due to its high acid value.→Used in adhesive applications for dry film corrosion inhibitors, solder masks, and conductive pastes.
- Narrow molecular weight distribution compared to solution polymerization products, allowing for high-resolution corrosion inhibition.
- Tg, molecular weight, and acid value can be adjusted according to requirements.
M-6000 Series ~Used as an Adhesive in Ceramic Sintering ~
- Minimal residue during sintering, excellent moldability.
- Molecular weight can be controlled from tens of thousands to over 1,000K.
- Exhibits better thermal decomposition performance compared to cellulose and phenolic resins commonly used as ceramic adhesives.
- The M-6000 series completely decomposes below 350°C and is widely used as a ceramic adhesive.
