A Hsinchu printed circuit board factory (PCB), with a copper inflow concentration of about 1200ppm, is looking for a solution in response to the stricter control of heavy metal concentrations in discharged water in 110 years. In addition to strengthening drainage management of chemical nickel and chemical copper wastewater with unstable sources, a dual capture agent program is also being evaluated at the wastewater treatment end. The environmentally friendly heavy-capture agent can achieve better copper treatment effects after increasing the dosage (1 KG/ton). This solution is currently on record as a solution after the regulations are tightened in the future.

 

 

Used in galvanizing wastewater from electroplating plants

 

In a Kaohsiung galvanizing and electroplating factory, the inflow zinc concentration is about 2200ppm. The treatment efficiency of using sodium sulfide series recapture agent is low, but after preliminary treatment, it can be treated by other methods. The wastewater is mixed to meet discharge water standards. However, in the next 110 years, the zinc release rate will be strictly controlled to 3.5ppm, and alternatives are currently being actively sought. The test plan compares the difference between general sodium sulfide recapture agent and environmentally friendly recapture agent. The results show that after increasing the dosage of the recapture agent, the environmentally friendly recapture agent can effectively treat zinc in water, with the concentration as low as 3ppm, and then combined with other stocks. Wastewater mixing will be well below tightened standards.
