CONTROX E 162 is an organic solvent-based thermal stripping product. It can be used at low temperatures, thus requiring fewer resources. It is also recyclable.

 

For removing paint from steel parts, there is a specially economical water-based alkaline stripping concentrate, which must be diluted with water before use.

 

Aluminum, zinc, and other non-ferrous metals can be stripped using our organic thermal paint remover.

 

Depending on the type of paint to be removed and the specified process conditions, working temperatures between 20°C and 120°C can be achieved.

 

After removing the paint residue from the used paint remover, it can be used again for paint removal.

CONTROX E 162 Cold and Hot Paint Remover (Suitable for Aluminum Wheels)

 

Applications:

 

Can be used as an organic thermal paint remover for iron, steel, aluminum, and other light metals.

Can also be used as a cold paint remover depending on the type of paint.

 

Product Characteristics:

 

Dissolves cured paint and powder coatings such as polyester fibers and polyurethane varnishes.

 

Instructions for Use:

 

• Can be used for immersion and spraying.
• Approximately 60-80°C (depending on the type of coating, it could be 20-50°C).
• Ready to use.
• Pre-test and evaluate the reaction time and anti-rust stability required for paint removal.

CONTROX E 162 Operational Steps

1.Submerge the aluminum wheel part in the paint remover tank.

​

 

2.Set the temperature between 60°C and 80°C and let it react for 10 minutes.

 

 

3.After the reaction, remove the aluminum wheel part, and the stripped base material will be clearly visible.
