What Are the Advantages of the Heavy Metal Precipitating Agents? Introducing Coagulite 2750 ~
Do you know the new coagulant we use for metal removal in wastewater treatment?
Coagulite 2750 is a novel coagulant used in metal removal for wastewater treatment. It's a non-toxic industrial wastewater heavy metal precipitant that includes chelating/binding metals. Based on polysulfide carbonate chemistry, it's commonly used to replace toxic aminomethyl phosphonic acid chemicals in wastewater treatment schemes. Compared to competing chemicals, Coagulite 2750 exhibits higher precipitation activity when used at similar dosage rates.
DuBois' Coagulite 2750 is designed to treat industrial process waters with dissolved metal concentrations exceeding discharge limits, such as those generated from electroplating operations, etching solutions, paint pretreatment washers, and other industrial processes.
Key Advantages:
- Effectively reduces heavy metal concentrations to below discharge requirements.
- Non-toxic formulation, replacing aminomethyl phosphonates and other hazardous chemicals commonly used for metal removal in wastewater.
- Proven effective in treating wastewater from electroplating baths, etching solutions, rinses, and other industrial process waters. Effective for treating chelated/bound metals.
- Can be used as a primary metal removal agent in treatment processes or as a secondary purification agent after hydroxide precipitation.
